# Method:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
02 - In a large bowl, cream unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
03 - Beat in the large egg and vanilla extract until fully combined.
04 - Whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
05 - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms.
06 - Roll dough into 1-inch diameter balls and arrange them 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets.
07 - Gently flatten each dough ball with the bottom of a glass or palm to create round shapes.
