Instructions

Prepare the Diamond Sugar Cookies:
a. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. b. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla. c. Gradually add dry ingredients, mixing until dough forms. d. Divide dough in half, flatten into discs, wrap in plastic, and refrigerate 30 minutes. e. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll out dough to 1/4-inch thickness. f. Using diamond and ring-shaped cookie cutters, cut out shapes and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. g.
